Sequencer Error Messages
Failure to verify data after save or load operation.
Memory card battery voltage low. Replace battery as described in Memory
Card instruction sheet.
Memory card voltage malfunction. Have the unit checked by qualified
YAMAHA service personnel.
Excessive data from an external device or a complex internal SONG is
causing the sequencer buffer to overflow. The amount of data being re-
ceived from the external device must be reduced, or the SONG data must be
simplified.
Recording or editing has caused the sequencer memory to become full.
Further recording or editing may be possible if unwanted tracks or song
data are erased.
This display will appear if you attempt to edit or perform a bulk dump of a
track that contains no data.
a) An external device has sent bulk data to the SY55 while the sequencer is
running. Bulk data cannot be received during sequencer operation, so
any received data will be ignored.
b) You have attempted to operate a utility function while the sequencer is
running. The sequencer must be stopped before utility functions can be
operated.
Bulk data reception to a song number that already contains data has been
attempted. Bulk song data can only be received to an empty song (either
erase the existing song data or chose an empty song number).
Erroneous song data was detected at power-on, and the song has been
cleared, This could indicate a battery problem. Have the battery checked by
qualified YAMAHA service personnel.
