What is the node's DECnet node name? Enter DECnet node name, for exam-
ple, JUPITR. The DECnet node name may
be from 1 to 6 alphanumeric char-
acters in length and may not in-
clude dollar signs or underscores.
What is the node's DECnet node ID? Enter DECnet node ID, for example, 2.2.
Will the Ethernet be used for cluster com- Enter Y. The Ethernet is required for clus-
munications (YIN)? ter (SCS internode) communications in lo-
cal area and mixed-interconnect con-
figurations.
Enter this cluster's group number: Enter a number in one of the ranges, 1 to
4095 or 61440 to 65535. You can
obtain this number from your Net-
work Coordinator.
Enter the cluster's password: Enter the cluster password which must be
from 1 to 31 alphanumeric charac-
ters in length and may include dol-
lar signs and underscores. You can ob-
tain the cluster's password from your Net-
work Coordinator.
Reenter the cluster's password for verifi- Reenter the password.

Enter Y. In local area and mixed-
interconnect configurations, the system
disk is always served to the clus-

Enter a value for JUPITR's ALLOCLASS pa- Enter O.

Does this cluster contain a quorum disk
(YIN)? Enter N.
The system prompts for account passwords as in Section 2.7.1. The system
then reboots automatically to complete the configuration changes. If the
system default boot device name is incorrectly set, the system may fail to
reboot. In this case, use the system HALT button (see Figure 2-2) to halt
