2.3.3 Installing Connector Covers
Three connector covers have been provided with your system to protect·
the unused connectors on the rear panel of the system unit. After you have
identified the ports and connectors, you should install covers on the unused
connectors as determined by your system configuration.
Determine if the optional DSH32-B communications module is included in
your system. If this module is not included, install cover 1 and cover 2 as
shown in Figure 2-4 A.
NOTE:
Due to the construction of the covers, cover 2 must be installed first.
NOTE:
On Modell 0 systems, cover 2 is slightly different than the one shown
in Figure 2-4 A, that is, it does not contain the flat portion which conceals
the B2 Reserved connector on Model 20 systems.
If the DSH32-B communications module is included in your system, install
cover 1 as shown in Figure 2-4 B.
If you do not wish to use the external SCSI interface, install cover 3 over
the SCSI terminator as shown in Figure 2-4 A and B.
