3.3.1.10 Removing the Read Unit

1) Take the flat cable [1] off the cable guide.
2) Remove the screw [2] and remove the switch cover [3].

3) Remove the connector [1] of the DCNT board.
4) Remove the two screws [2], and detach the read unit [4] upward while
releasing the two claws [3].

1) Remove the connector [1] of the DCNT board. Take the cable off the
cable clamp.
2) Take the flat cable [2] off the board of the laser/scanner unit.
3) Remove the four screws [3] to remove the laser/scanner unit [4]. Ensure
that the grounding plate [5] does not get lost.

1) Open the front cover.
2) Hold the two claws [1] on the right side of the roller, lifting them up.
3) Slide the transfer charging roller [2] by sliding it to the right.
