NOTE: The IP address of a DVR in a network must be unique to itself as opposed to those of the
other chosen PCs, but in the same class type.
NOTE: If provided with a DHCP server, the 9 CH DVR can get an IP automatically by setting the
DHCP item to ON.
Find out the IP address of a DVR
(1) Press the display button 3 times.
(2) It will show the information of network connection on the screen.
Use Microsoft Internet Explorer for remote viewing via Ethernet connection on LAN.
(1) Open a new Internet Explorer window.
(2) Type in the IP address of the DVR into the URL block and press the Enter button to enter the login
page.
For example, if the IP address of the DVR is 192.168.1.143, then we have to enter: 192.168.1.143.
(3) Enter the user name (Login Name). The default user name is admin.
(4) Fill in the password (Password). The default user name is 9999.
(5) Click the OK button and enter the home page of the DVR.
3. How to set the scheduled alarm
Please take the following steps to program the scheduled alarm recording.
QUICK SETTING:
MAIN MENU → ADVANCED SETTING → ALARM SETTING → ALARM INPUT LINK → choose the
channels as you want → set sensor, v-loss or motion ON → ADVANCED SETTING → SCHEDULE
→ choose the schedules as you want → turn the
SETTING → turn the
OUT LINK → choose ALARM OUT 1, 2 or 3 as you want → set SENSOR, V-LOSS or MOTION YES
→ START RECORD → turn the
EXIT MENU WITH SAVING
►Set the schedule
(1) Press the menu button to enter the MAIN MENU.
(2) Select the ADVANCED SETTING and press the enter button to enter the ADVANCED SETTING page.
(3) Select SCHEDULE and press the enter button to enter the SCHEDULE SETTING page.
(4) Select one of SCHEDULE 1-8 and ENABLE the alarm setting, then press the enter button to enter
the ALARM SETTING
(5) Set the desired time period.
(6) Set the alarm record rate, mode and quality.
(7) Set to a "SENSITIVITY" of from 0.1 to 0.8 seconds.
(8) Enter and set each channel to activate or deactivate the three modes of SENSOR, V LOSS and
ACTIVE in the ALARM TYPE LINK and the ALARM OUT LINK items.
