Installing the ink cartridges

Install the ink cartridges to the device.
• When installing an ink cartridge, hold it
laterally with the side containing the IC
chip upward.
After setting the main unit power ON, be

sure to carry out initial filling.
Each color is displayed on the LCD as follows:
Black : K, Cyan : C,
Light cyan : c, Light magenta : m, White : W, Spot color : S

Relationships between ink station and head row

One color ink is applied to a nozzle.
Remember these relationships when checking the heads for clogged nozzles, replacing ink
cartridge and replenishing inks.
