Troubleshooting
Solution
Remove ribbon cartridge and
turn knob. If ribbon resists,
replace ribbon cartridge. See
page 3-4 for instructions.
Replace the mask spring. See
page 4-6 for instructions.
Set the head gap adjuster to
the fifth notch away from the
paper. See page 3-6 for
instructions.
If ribbon cartridge bumps
against the inside of the
printer, check white ribbon
cable, home position sensor,
and four screws. Remove any
paper scraps and do a
cleaning.
Latch (lock) the printer
mechanism into place.
Do a self-test.
