since 1996. His areas of expertise include enterprise backup and recovery,
disaster recovery planning and implementation, and RS/6000. He is also a
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Currently, he focuses on RS/6000 Cluster
Technology by writing redbooks and teaching IBM classes worldwide.
Christian Courty is a IBM IGS RS/6000 SP specialist in Montpellier (France).
He joined IBM in 1970. He has been Mainframe Hardware CE and later MVS
Software CE. He became a CATIA specialist and follows the migration of CATIA
from mainframe to the workstation and AIX. He was involved on the first SP1
installations in Paris. He moved to Montpellier in 1994 to support the SP2 for
EMEA in the SP support group.
Corneliu Holban is an IBM Advisory IT specialist in New York. He has 8 years of
experience in system engineering, technical support, and sales on RS/6000 and
RS/6000 SP systems. His areas of expertise include RS/6000 and RS/6000 SP –
solutions sizing, capacity planning, high availability, and system performances.
He has IBM Certification for RS/6000 Solutions Sales and IBM Qualification for
RS/6000 SP Solutions Sales.
Willis C. White III is a software engineer in the Functional Verification Test
department of the AIX development LAB in Poughkeepsie NY. A Poughkeepsie
native with roots stretching back 100 years in the area, he is a third generation
IBMer. He has two years of experience in the Information Technology field. He
holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Rochester Institute of Technology
and joined the cooperation right out of college. His areas of expertise include SP
system administration, UNIX testing theory and problem determination, and
resolution on PSSP systems, along with a host of other specialties relating to
hardware and hardware engineering.
