Release the cover by gently bending the ADF away from the top cover (1), and then lift the top cover (2) and remove.

Remove the ADF unit. See

Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the cable cover from the rear of the scanner assembly.

Remove the scanner assembly from the MFP.
