When disconnecting the cable from the
battery start with the negative terminal first;
when connecting the cables to the battery
start with the positive terminal first.
Always use a voltmeter to check a battery's
charge.
① Battery
1.
To slow charge the battery, connect the battery
positive terminal to the charger positive
terminal and the negative to the negative.
Then recharge in the standard fashion.
2.
A boost charge is only for emergencies it will
partially charge the battery as early as
possible.
3.
When exchanging an old battery for a new one
use battery of equal specification shown in
table 1.

When storing the vehicle for a long period,
remove the battery from level vehicle, store in
a dry place out of direct sunlight.
2.
The battery will self discharge while it is stored,
recharge it once every three months in hot
seasons and once every six months in cold
seasons.

Proper toe-in
0 to12 mm (0 to 0.47 in)
Park vehicle on flat place.
Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in the
straight ahead position.
Lock the park brake and stop the engine.
Measure distance between front tires center to
center of tire at hub height ①. Rotate the tires
180 degrees and measure at the rear of the
front tires.
Front distance should be shorter than rear
distance if not adjust tie rod length.
Loosen the lock nut and turn the tie rod to
adjust the rod length until the proper toe-in
measurement is obtained.
Retighten the lock nut.
Keep the equal length of the left and right
tie-rod.
