CAUTION
To avoid personal injury
When the battery is being activated,
hydrogen and oxygen gases in the battery
are extremely explosive. Keep open sparks
and flames away from the battery at all
times,
especially
battery.
When disconnecting the cable from the
battery start with the negative terminal
first; when connection the cable to the
battery start with the positive terminal
first.
Always check battery charge by using a
voltmeter.
① Battery

To slow charge the battery connect the
battery positive terminal to the charger
positive terminal and the negative to the
negative. then recharge in the standard
fashion.
2.
A boost charge is only for emergencies it will
partially charge the battery as early as
possible.
3.
When exchanging an old battery for a new
one use battery of equal specification shown
in table 1.

◆ Direction for storage
1.
When storing the vehicle for a long period,
remove the battery from the vehicle, store
in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
2.
The battery shall self self-discharge while it
is shored recharge it once every three
months in hot seasons and once every six
months in cold seasons.

■ Adjusting toe-in

Proper toe-in
0 to12 mm (0 to 0.47 in)
1.
Park vehicle on flat place.
2.
Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in
the straight ahead position.
3.
Lock the park brake and stop the engine.
4.
Measure distance between front tire beads
at rear of tire at hub height.
5.
Front distance should be shorter than rear
distance if not adjust tie rod length.

1.
Loosen the lock nut and turn the tie rod to
adjust the rod length until the proper toe-in
