LAN Port Configuration

Procedure T. Configuring LAN Port

Select the Ethernet hyperlink in the System Menu (Figure 64).

If obtaining an IP automatically is desired, click the Obtain an IP automatically box under Local IP.
Otherwise, enter a value for the Local IP in the provided field.

Enter a value for the Subnet Mask in the provided field.

If RIP is not desired under Routing Table, deselect the box (RIP Allowed is the default setting).

Select either DHCP Server, DHCP Relay, or Outbound Filtering under Advanced.

Enter the value for DNS Relay in the provided field.

Click the Apply button if all data is correct.
