WAN Port Configuration using PPPoE Relay

Refer to Procedure V for information on configuring the WAN Port using PPPoE
Relay.
Procedure V. Configuring WAN Port Using PPPoE Relay
Step

Select PPPoE Relay in the System Menu (Figure 67).

Enter the VPI value in the VPI field.

Enter the VCI value in the VCI field.

Select the Quality of Service type: UBR (default setting), CBR, or VBR. A pop-up screen appears. Enter the
appropriate information.

Select the Encapsulation type: LLC, VCMUX, or Learning (Learning is the default setting).

Select the HDLC Header type: Enable, Disable, or Learning (Learning is the default setting).

Enter the values for the Local IP, Subnet Mask, and Gateway in the provided fields.

Select either Set as Default Route or Edit Routing Table under Routing Table (Set as Default Route is the
default setting).

If NAT is desired, click the NAT box under Advanced.

Click the Apply button if all data is correct.
