The contents of each item are as follows (only
distress calls with no ECC (Error Check
Character) errors are displayed):
• DIST-ID: The ID of the distress station.
• NATURE OF DIST: The type of distress.
• DIST-POSITION, DIST-UTC, TELECOMMAND:
Distress data.
• END OF SEQUENCE: EOS
Up to 20 messages can be stored.
Review messages as follows:
• Each time
message cycles one step backwards in time
from the newest message, stopping when the
oldest message is reached:

Press
• The DISTRESS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CALL

TRANSMITTED appears.

MENU Display.
The DISTRESS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT CALL
Display disappears and the DSC MENU Display
appears.
Press
Status Display.
The CH16 Status Display returns.
TIP
For any controller which does not have priority,
press
change OPE to OFF.
