!2 Indicates the current scanning mode.
OFF : Scanning mode is off.
ALL CH : Currently scanning all chan-
nels.
MEMORY CH : Currently scanning
memory channels.
SELECT : Currently scanning selected
channels.
!3 Indicates which controller is active.
OFF : NO controller is active.
MASTER: The main unit is active.
SLAVE-1 : Remote controller SLAVE-1 is
active.
SLAVE-2 : Remote controller SLAVE-2 is
active.
SLAVE-3 : Remote controller SLAVE-3 is
active.
!4 Indicates the mode (communication mode)
of the currently selected channel.
SIMP TEL : Simplex telephone mode
selected.
SEMI-DUP TEL : Semi-duplex telephone
mode selected.
DSC : DSC simplex mode selected.
!5 Indicates the selected region.
ITU : ITU channels selected.
USA : USA channels selected.
CANADA: Canadian channels selected.
!6 Indicates that the unit is programmed for
dual watch with CH16.
