Cause and Solution
Remove any blockage from around the paper feed exit on the
front of the printer.
Wear to the head may be cause of ribbon tearing. →
Replace the Thermal Print Head Assy
This occurs when the printer or media set have been brought
from cold to warm environments suddenly.
Damaged ribbon supply assy.
→ Replace the ribbon supply assy.
Damaged ribbon supply tension motor. Faulty the harness.
→ Replace the motor and harness.
Incorrect harness connection.
Faulty connector.
Faulty driver board. → Replace
Faulty main board. → Replace
Faulty of sensor adjustment. → Adjust a sensor
Ribbon sensor harness connection is faulty.
Faulty ribbon sensor. → Replace
Faulty sensor board. → Replace
Check the connections of harness connecting the sensor and
the sensor board.
Check the connections of FFC Connecting the driver board
and the main board.
Faulty driver board. → Replace

There is stress on the ribbon feed route. Check the rotation
stress on the ribbon holder, etc. → replace
