5. CHECK ORIGINAL

Remove the original carefully from the
automatic document feeder.

Open the ADF exit cover and remove any
foreign matter such as bits of paper, paper
clips, etc.

Raise the automatic document feeder.
. If an original is left on the glass, remove it.
. If an original is misfed in the exit area, remove
it as shown.
4
Reset any originals not copied under the
originals remaining in the original feed tray
and resume copying.
