2B-9 Front Suspension:
• Install the oil seal stopper ring (2).
CAUTION
!
Make sure that the oil seal stopper ring is
fitted securely.
• Install the dust seal (1).

Damper rod bolt
• Install the inner rod/damper rod (cartridge) (1) into the
inner tube.

• Apply thread lock to the damper rod bolt (2) and
tighten it to the specified torque with the special tools.
CAUTION
!
Use a new damper rod bolt gasket (3) to
prevent oil leakage.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32110
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1322 or
equivalent)
Special tool
(A): 09940–30221 (Front fork assembling
tool)
Tightening torque
Front fork damper rod bolt (a): 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m,
16.5 lb-ft)
