Buffer roll assembly removal

1.
Remove the rear upper cover. See
2.
Open the finisher front door assembly.
3.
Remove the stapler unit cartridge.
4.
Move the stapler unit assembly by hand as far to the rear as it will go.
5.
Lower the buffer pinch guide assembly (A).
6.
Move the lower pinch guide assembly to the right.
7.
Position the buffer diverter gate (B) using your finger to its upper most position.
8.
Use a prying tool to remove the e-clip securing the buffer roll assembly (C) to the front of the finisher.
9.
Remove the 6 mm bushing (D).
10.
Remove the media diverter gate solenoid. See
