OSD Menu Settings

CEC Control

The CEC Control function allows input selection of
this receiver to be interlocked with the operation of
the connected components.

Note
• When the CEC Control is set to "ON(POWER ON)"
or "ON(ALWAYS)", you can also use the ARC (Audio
Return Channel) function, enabling the TV to send
the audio signals to this receiver via a HDMI cable. To
use the ARC function, the TV that supports the ARC
function of the HDMI 1.4 standards is required.
• The CEC Control function may not work depending on
the connected component and its settings. For details
on CEC Control, see "Confirming the HDMI Function"
on page 50.

TV Power Sync.

The TV Power Sync. function allows the power status
of this receiver to be interlocked with the power ON/
OFF of the connected TV.

On Use the TV Power Sync.
Off Disuse the TV Power Sync.
Note
• The TV Power Sync. can be set only when the
CEC Control is set to "ON(POWER ON)" or
"ON(ALWAYS)".
