Using Other Functions during
Playback

Listening with headphones

Connect the headphones to the PHONES jack on
the front panel.
PHONES
Caution
• Be careful not to set the volume too high when using
headphones.
Note
• Dolby Headphone mode is not supported with this
receiver.

Muting the sound

Press the MUTE button.
•
"MUTE" flickers on the fluorescent display.
•
Press the MUTE button again to resume the
previous sound level.

Setting the SLEEP timer

Press the SLEEP button.
• SLEEP timer indicator ( ) lights up.
• Each time the button is pressed, the sleep time
changes as follows:
OFF  90min  60min  30min
•
If the sleep time is selected, the fluorescent
display is dimly lit.

Setting the AUTO STANDBY timer

Press the SLEEP button for more than 2 second.
• Each time the button is pressed, the auto
standby time changes as follows:
4h  6h  OFF  2h
