Notes
• Clips may not play correctly when using high-speed
playback from XQD memory cards.
• The operation of all XQD memory cards is not
guaranteed. For information about memory cards for
which operation has been confirmed, consult your
supplier.
• When you use a "Memory Stick" adapter or SD card
adapter, check to be sure that this unit is in operative
state before inserting the combined media and adapter.

unit
UDF-format memory cards (SxS PRO+, SxS PRO,
SxS-1, XQD)
• Thumbnail display
• Playback
• Copying to internal storage
• Copying from internal storage/memory card
Note
Recording to memory cards is not supported.
FAT-format memory cards (SxS PRO+, SxS PRO,
SxS-1, "Memory Stick," SDHC cards)
• Thumbnail display

• Copying to internal storage
exFAT-format memory cards (SxS PRO+,
SxS PRO, SxS-1)

Note
Recording to memory cards (including copying), deleting
clips, and formatting memory cards are not supported.
Notes on the use of SxS memory cards
• Recorded data may be lost or corrupted in the following
cases.
- When this unit is subjected to shock or vibrations
during reading or writing of an SxS memory card, and
when this unit is powered off or an SxS memory card
is removed during reading or writing
- When this unit is used in an environment subject to
static electricity or electric noise
• Do not use or store SxS memory cards in locations that
are:
- outside the specified environmental ranges
- very hot, such in as vehicles parked in the sun during
summer, or exposed to direct sunlight, or near heaters

- subject to high humidity and corrosion
• When inserting a memory card, insert with the label side
facing the correct direction.
• Carry and store SxS memory cards in their cases, and
lock the cases securely.
• Guard against accidents and inadvertent data loss by
backing up the data stored on SxS memory cards. Sony
cannot be responsible for any consequences of damage
to or loss of data stored on SxS memory cards.
• Do not attach anything other than the supplied labels in
the designated label space. When attaching a label, make
sure it does not protrude beyond the label space.
Label space
• Clip operations may not be possible when the remaining
capacity of the media is low. In this case, use a computer
to delete unneeded files and try again.
• Open the memory card case completely before storing a
card in the case or removing a card from the case.
To prevent accidental erasure
You can prevent accidental recording, editing, and
deletion of data on an SxS memory card by setting the
write protect switch to the WP side.
Note
Do not touch the write protect switch while an SxS
memory card is loaded in a memory card slot. Eject the
card before setting the write protect switch.
