3.3 Loading the Document

With the Original glass

To position sheet documents

For plain documents or documents that cannot be loaded into the Document feeder,
position them as described below.

Lift open the Original cover, or the Document feeder if it is installed.

Position the document to be copied
face down on the Original glass.
❍ Align the document on the scales
above and to the left of the Original
glass.

Carefully close the Original cover, or the Document feeder if it is installed.

If necessary, specify any other copy settings.
