Pausing and Canceling Output

You can pause and cancel output before it finishes. However, a horizontal stripe is produced at the location
where output was stopped. We do not recommend resuming output.
Procedure

Press before output finishes.
This pauses the output operation.

Press again to resume output.
To cancel the output, go the next Procedure without pressing

TO CANCEL, HOLD
DOWN SETUP KEY

Stop sending the output data from the computer.

Cutting Off the Media

* When "SETUP SHEET" is set to "RIGID," media cannot be cutoff.
Some media may be thick or may be composed of plastic or other hard material. For such media, never
perform cutoff using


Close the front cover 1.

REMOVE
MEDIA CLAMPS
When the screen shown in the figure appears, hold down
for one second or longer.
This cancels the output operation.

Confirm that
