Scan Size

You can set the scan size and transmit the document. This is useful when you want to send only a part of
the document, or specify the document size (sectional transmission).
1. Press [ScanSize].
2. Select the scan size using the cursor keys and press [Enter].

• The machine scans the size you have set.
• The reference position you have set be-
comes the scan reference.
The factory setting is "Auto".

You can add frequently used functions to the basic function menu.  "Calling up Frequently Used Functions,"
page 80.

• The machine scans at the width you have set for the
entire length of the document.
The maximum length is 1000 mm. (At 600 dpi, the
maximum length is 500 mm.)
• If Rotate Transmission ("Rotate Tx," page 89) is ON,
when you specify A4 vertical, only an A4 vertical seg-
ment is scanned.
