9. <Energy Save>
Press to switch the energy save mode. During energy save mode, this button lights green and the LCD turns
off. Press <Energy Save> again to cancel the energy save mode.  "Energy Save Mode," page 23.
10. <Stop>
Press this to cancel the machine operation.
11. <Start>
Press to start the functions.
12. Numeric keys
Use to enter numbers, for example number of copies or fax numbers, or to enter letters, such as for destina-
tion names.
13. Cursor keys
Used for different purposes, including selection of items on the LCD and moving the cursor.
While the fax ready screen is being shown, press the down key to show the address book. You can then select
a name from the registered addresses and send a fax.
While the fax ready screen is being shown, press the up key to show the redial screen. The destinations for
the last 10 fax transmissions and phone calls are kept in memory.
14. <Reset>
Press to cancel an operation or to return settings to their default values.
15. Screen switching key
If the information continues on another screen, press this to change the screen.
16. Function select key
Press to select the items displayed at the bottom of the LCD.
17. Mode change key
Press to change between the copy, fax, and scan modes.
