Rx Reduc. Rate You can set the print reduction rate for
received documents.
Reduc. Margin When the received document will not fit in
the printing area, you can set values that
determine whether to cut off an edge or
reduce the contents to fit onto one sheet.
Paper Saving If "Duplex Rx" is set, you can print the
received document on both sides of the
paper.
(Appears only if the machine is fitted
with a duplex print unit.)
Rotate Tx
If you set this to ON, A4
can be rotated to A4 for scanning and
transmitted.
Quick Memory If you set this to ON, fax transmission
Tx for multiple documents starts in the
order of pages that can be scanned and
stored.
(This item appears only when the ma-
chine is fitted with an ADF.)
ECM Mode If you set this to ON, any part of a
document that could not be transmit-
ted correctly due to a line error will be
automatically resent.
Service Mode Do not set.
Dial Prefix This sets the number to register for dial-
ing symbol (/N).
Recv. Time This prints the time faxes are received. This
Stamp allows you to accurately manage received
documents by the time they arrive.
Doc. Type You can set the default document type
for scanning.
Resolution You can set the default document type
for scanning.
Contrast You can set the default contrast for scan-
ning.
ScanSize You can set the default size for scanning. Auto,
Next Doc You can make different default next
document settings for the ADF and the
document glass.
(Only settings for the document glass are
possible when an ADF is not fitted.)
– You can set a name and I.D. code for a
box where a scanned document is stored.
