Complete Beep Set whether to sound a tone when the
following operations are completed. They
can be set individually.
• Copy Complete
• Tx Complete
• Rx Complete
• Fax Print Complete
• List Print Complete
• PC Print
• After scanning a document on the
document glass
Fax Ringer You can set the fax reception ringer even
if the telephone is not connected to this
machine.
Alarm If you set this to ON, a buzzer will sound
when errors such as paper jams or
memory overflows occur.
Press [Custom] to set the alarm for pa-
per jams. (Default is ON)
Sleep Mode You can set the time after which the ma-
chine will automatically switch to Sleep
mode.
Energy Save You can set times for the machine to
Period switch to the Energy save mode and to
cancel the mode.
– You can automatically print the Journal
Report.

The Journal Report is not automati-
cally printed.
On (no time setup)
When the combined number of most
recent transmissions and receptions
reaches 100, a Journal Report is auto-
matically printed.
On (with time setup)
As a daily journal, a journal report is
automatically printed at a specified
time each day.
Register the 4-digit I.D.Code you will
code need to perform security function,
protect function, mode prohibitions, and
dept. management settings.
Protect Func- Set whether to request a protect pass-
tion code when entering the setting screens
for "Dept. Management" and "Mode
Prohibition".
* To do this, you need to enter the protect
passcode.
