Action
Make sure that the operating-system media is supported by the ServerGuide
program. For a list of supported operating-system versions, go to
http://www.ibm.com/systems/management/serverguide/sub.html, click IBM
Service and Support Site, click the link for your ServerGuide version, and scroll
down to the list of supported Microsoft Windows operating systems.
1. Check the ServerProven list at http://www.ibm.com/systems/info/
x86servers/serverproven/compat/us/ to verify that the operating system is
supported.
2. Verify that the logical drive is properly defined and setup.
3. Make sure that the ServerGuide program can detect an installable partition.
4. Check the Retain Tips for related issues on IBM Support web site at
http://www.ibm.com/supportportal/.
Action
Look for the UEFI/Post code on the server LCD display panel and contact IBM
Support and provide this number for further assistance.
