To remove an adapter, complete the following steps:

6. Press the edge of the connector on the adapter firmly into the connector on the
board. Make sure that the adapter snaps into connector securely.
Attention: When you install an adapter, make sure that the adapter is
correctly seated in the connector on the board before you turn on the server.
An incorrectly seated adapter might cause damage to the board or the
adapter.
