Output Mode
Two different polarities are available.
0 - Continuous output
This polarity is a stable low-level output.
1 - Pulse output
This polarity is a pulse output.
Output Time
Each output can be specified output time and resets at the end of output time. Each output
time occupies three programming addressess in seconds.
For example, to limit the output time of input 1 to 5 minutes, the programming address
0545-0547 can be programmed to [300], 300 seconds, i.e., 5 minutes.
The actual output time of system audio alarm, system alarm and follow zone event is related to
alarm siren ringing.
7.3.4

Alarm Siren Ringing Time

The alarm siren ringing time is valid only when the keypad alarm tone is enabled. When there
is audio alarm in the system, the alarm siren begins to ring. After valid arming/disarming
command, alarm reset or alarm siren ringing time ends, the alarm siren stops ringing.

7.4

Access Codes

This section describes the access codes used to assign privileges and access functions for
User Code holders of the system. There are two types of access codes, the Installer Code and
User Codes. Each of these codes allows specific access and operation of control panel
functions.
7.4.1

Installer Code

The Installer Code can be up to six digits long. When the system is in disarmed status and no
active alarm, it will access to Installer's Programming Mode.
Installer Code functions allow the installer to execute functions when the system is disarmed.
Refer to Section 6 System Functions, page 39 for more information. Refer to
Section 3.3.1 Programming with the AMAX Keypad 4000, page 14 for more information on
system programming.
The installer code works only if it is enabled by a user code holder.
7.4.2

User Codes

The purpose of User Codes is to arm and disarm the system and perform system functions.
The alarm control panel contains the following User Codes:
