Lets analyze the Edit parts main screen and its contol parameters.
F5 TOUCH SENSITIVITY
Enables or disables a selected
track the keyboard dynamic
control
F6 MODE PRIORITY
Assigns the POLY or MONO
play mode to each track
F7 VELOCITY CURVE
Assigns a selectable velocity
curve to each track
F8 VELOCITY RANGE
Assigns a selectable velocity
play range to each track (from
0 to 127)
The EDIT PARTS menu is divided into two pages. Press the PAGE NEXT button on the panel to visualize the second page.
In this menu you can select the tracks for the global tranpose. As you can see the DRUM track (n.10) is disabled. You can
set this parameter according to your needs.

Select the track using the UP/DOWN CURSOR buttons

Set ENABLE or DISABLE using the DIAL (or the INC/DEC buttons)

Press STORE then ENTER to confirm editing
To use the genesys xp as a stand alone unit

F1 TRANSPOSE
Shifts a selected track of a
programmable semitones value
(+/- 60 semitones range)
F2 M.TRANSPOSE EN
The master transpose enable
enables or disables a selected
track to be affected from the
master transpose on the panel
F3 DETUNE
Shift a selected track fine
pitch of a programmable
value (+/- 64)
F4 RANDOM PITCH
This parameter sets in a
selected track a programmable
value for randomic pitch.
F2 DELAY
Sets a MIDI delay in track
playing (range from 0 to
768)
F3 KEY RANGE
Sets the range key response
of the track (from A0 to C8
range)
F6 CREATE TRACK
Allows to create and add a
new track in the song
F7 COPY TRACK
Allows to copy the data control
parameters in another track
F8 ERASE TRACK
Erases a selected track from
the song
