Driver selection area
CD eject
Driver selection area
Pressing the respective function buttons (from A to D) it is
possible to select one of the available drivers to play or to
load data in the instrument.
NOTE
The Genesys Internal RAM selection as a play drives presumes
the previous files loading in this memory area. RAM memory
area does not play direct. Please refer to the SEQUENCER
chapter in this manual for all the the operations related with
song RAM memory.
CD eject
Pressing the function button H it is possible to remove the
currently inserted CD from the driver.
AUTO PLAY
Pressing the function button F7 it is possible enable the AUTO
PLAY function. This function allows while a file in a directory
is playing, to move and play another file without pressing the
STOP and PLAY buttons, by simply selecting it.
WARNING!
Selecting different directory with the Auto Play function enabled
the player stops executing the current file. Please disable this
function if you want a continuos play while switching different
folders.
PLAY LOOP mode
By pressing the function button F8 the Play loop mode is
enabled. In this mode once the played song is over, it start
again automatically.

Starts a selected file

Stops the playing file. Pressing
again the PLAY button, the
song will start at the same
point where it was stopped.
Visualization filters
These buttons allow to select the type of file showed in the
selected drive directory.This make faster the file searching in
the selected support.
Pressing F1 MP3, Genesys xp
shows only the Mp3 files present
in the selected support.
Pressing F2 SMF, Genesys xp
shows only the Standard Midi
files present in the selected
support.
Pressing F3 WAVE, Genesys xp
shows only the ".Wav" audio files
present in the selected support.
Pressing F4 GEM, Genesys xp
shows only the GEM songs files
present in the selected support.
Pressing F5 CD, Genesys xp
shows only the CD audio files
present in the selected support.
Pressing F6 ALL,(default)
Genesys xp shows all the files
present in the selected support
(no filter).
FAST REWIND Button
These buttons fast move (forward and backward) the playing file.
BEWARE!
Playing midifiles in direct-to-disk mode these keys are
disabled
