The Genesys xp is equipped with two different video out connectors: TV and S-Video. These allow you to connect the instrument to a TV or video projector
to display a larger image of the internal screen. The Genesys xp also offers special modes which allow the TV to show score and/or lyrics. The choice of
which connector to use depends on the type of VIDEO IN connectors on your TV or video projector. Most better quality TV sets will offer an RCA-type VIDEO
IN connector, (which is usually yellow in color). You can use a standard RCA cable to connect to TV output of the Genesys to this VIDEO IN connector. For
a higher quality image, connect the S-VIDEO output of the Genesys to the S-VIDEO input of a suitably equipped TV. This requires a special S-VIDEO cable
available from most TV stores. While S-VIDEO offers superior quality, it can only be used when the TV or video projector is positioned relatively close to
the instrument, (up to a maximum of about 20 feet). In situations where the TV or video projector is a long way from the instrument, better results will be
obtained by using the TV output connected to VIDEO IN with an RCA cable.
