IF YOU CANNOT START COPYING

In Case Messages Appear
This chapter explains the major messages that this copier machine can display while
performing its copy processing. If a message appears, take actions according to the
instructions given in the message.

It takes approximately 5 minutes till the ma-
chine warms up after the main switch is turned
on.
It takes approximately 3 minutes till the ma-
chine warms up after toner is replenished.
Reference
You can define copy contents and press the
{Start} key when the message "Select a key
and press the Start key." or "Will automatically
start after warmup." is displayed. Copying au-
tomatically starts when the machine gets ready
for copy processing. See ⇒ P.20 "Auto Start."
For an original of which size is difficult to sense,
select the paper type using not Auto Paper Select
but Select Copy Paper and use a function other
than Auto Reduce/Enlarge to copy in the regular
reduce/enlarge mode.
Set originals.
Press the {Start} key, and the original is copied
onto the selected paper.
