COPYING
BOOK → → → → → 2 SIDED
You can make two-sided copies from facing
pages.
You can run the Book→2 Sided function in
the following two modes:
Single (Left/Right Pages → → → → → 2 Sided)
This mode makes two-sided copies from
facing pages.
Multi (Front/Back Pages → → → → → 2 Sided)
This mode makes two-sided copies so that
the same state as the facing originals is
maintained.
Limitation
You cannot select Book→2-Sided when
Auto Paper Select is selected.
You cannot use the following copy paper
in this function:
• Paper smaller than A5
both sides of A5 paper.),or 5
in inch version(you can copy both sides

• Translucent paper
• Adhesive labels
• OHP transparencies
• Post cards
You cannot use the bypass tray.
You cannot mix originals of different sizes
or orientations.
Note
Select the
K
copy paper.
Set the originals sequentially starting at the
last page when setting them on the expo-
sure glass.
The scale side page is copied on the back
side of paper.
Be sure to close the document feeder when
setting original on the exposure glass. The
machine might fail to sense the correct
original size if your hand, arm, or sleeve is
placed on the exposure glass.
