These changes can include intrusion detection or certain physical change in the monitored area. For examples, the external sensor can be a door switch or an infrared motion detector.

Please follow the steps below to insert the power wire. Insert positive / negative DC power wires into the contacts 1 and 2 for DC POWER 1, or 5 and 6 for DC POWER 2.

Please read the following topics and perform the procedures in the order being presented. To install your Managed Switch on a desktop or shelf, simply complete the following steps.

About Web-based Management The Managed Switch offers management features that allow users to manage the Managed Switch from anywhere on the network through a standard browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.

    User’s Manual of MGSD-10080F 4.1 Main Web Page The Managed Switch provides a Web-based browser interface for configuring and managing it. This interface allows you to access the Managed Switch using the Web browser of your choice. This chapter describes how to use the Managed Switch’s Web browser interface to configure and manage it.
