Message waiting indicator (MWI)

The MWI signals that a message is waiting to be heard. This LED flashes when the set is
ringing. If the set is ringing when someone is leaving a message, the LED flashes until the set
stops ringing.

Display

The display has two 24-character lines. The top line shows information like DN, the number of
user presses when the set is in use, and time and date. When the information exceeds 24-
characters, a scroll icon appears and you can see the rest of the display by scrolling.
The second line displays the feature key labels for the three programmable self-labeled keys.
Each feature label consists of up to seven characters. The first character is an icon displaying
the status of the feature. When the set is in Options mode, the top line displays related prompts
and the bottom line displays key labels. There are six icon indicators showing various options
and set status.
