EXPEC load management
MEFM will provide load management for the EIPE controller card (EXPEC). Load management
of the EXPEC loads will include the ability to:
• view loads on the EXPEC
• initiate the transfer of loads to the EXPEC
• delete loads from the EXPEC
• set the "bootable" load for the EXPEC
• see the space remaining on the EXPEC
• initiate the transfer of a load file to multiple EXPECs
• provide a record of the completion of each load transfer
The loads are transferred through the Ethernet portion the EXPEC card. The advantage of
transferring the load files through the Ethernet is that the transfer time is greatly reduced and
that the IPE remains in service while the load file is being transferred. Once a load is transferred
