Full Duplex Handsfree (FDHF) Accessory on the Avaya 3904

This section shows how to install and use the Full Duplex Handsfree (FDHF) Cartridge
(NTMN72AA) with your Avaya 3904 Digital Deskphone Release 3 (NTMN34GA). The FDHF
cartridge enables simultaneous two-way communication during a handsfree call.
The Full Duplex Handsfree accessory is only supported on the Avyaa 3904 Release 3 or later
telephone. A Full Duplex Handsfree compatible version of the Avaya 3904 Release 2 telephone
is not available.

Prerequisites

You must install an Accessory Connection Module (NTMN71AA) into your Avaya 3904 Digital
Deskphone before you install the FDHF cartridge. The ACM provides connection capabilities
between the Avaya 3904 set and the FDHF cartridge.
