Packet-Level Errors
The
packet-level
software
reports
error
conditions
in
the
following format.
COMM ERROR (PK)
=
NNNN OGCC.SREE.SSID.DSID
where:
NNNN is the data packet address of the packet
affected
by
the error (for use by analysts only).
OG
is the virtual channel group.
CC
is the logical channel number.
Together OG and CC are
referred to as the logical channel indicator (LCI) and
identify the PVC affected by the error.
SR
is the packet peS) and peR) counts.
These values
are
each
right
justified in the left and right nibble of
this byte.
The
maximum
value
of
each
should
not
exceed 7.
EE
is the error code.
It
defines
the
type
of
error
condition encountered at run time:

Invalid state in send receive ready

Invalid state in send receive not ready

SSID is the source (sender) ID (SID).
DSID is the destination ID (DID).
