Load developer.
1. Remove the developing unit upper cover by
pushing and lifting it in the direction of the arrow
in the diagram.
Caution: Be sure to place the image formation
unit on a level surface when loading developer.

2. Shake the developer bottle well to agitate the
developer.
3. While turning the magnet roller gear in the
direction of the arrow in the diagram, uniformly
pour developer into the image formation unit.
Caution: Never turn the magnet roller gear in the
reverse direction.
4. Refit the developing unit upper cover.
Release the cleaning blade.
1. Remove the tape holding each of the two
cleaning blade release levers. Apply the cleaning
blade to the drum by gently pushing the cleaning
blade release levers in the direction of the arrows
in the diagram using a screwdriver.
•The cleaning blade comes into contact with the
drum.
