3.6 Adjusting the Angle of the Control Panel

Sleep Mode
In order to conserve energy, the machine's heater goes off and the machine auto-
matically enters Sleep mode if no operation is performed for a specified length of
time.
<Conditions for entering Sleep mode>
G The optional printer controller or network-related accessories are installed.
G No machine operation is performed for 1 minute.
Note
To recover from Sleep mode, press any key in the control panel or touch the
touch panel.
The settings specifying whether or not and the time until the machine enters
Sleep mode can be changed. For details, refer to "Changing Default Settings"
of "Utility Mode Operations" in the Advanced Operations volume of the User
Manual.
3.6 Adjusting the Angle of the Control Panel
The control panel can be adjusted to any of three angles.
Adjust the control panel to the angle that allows for easy operation.

Pull the control panel release lever, and then adjust the angle of the control
panel.
