The Tally T8106/T8406 printers support remote management through
standard network management utilities.
SNMP
MIB II, Printer MIB, Enterprise MIB.
This printer uses an SNMP agent and supports a Printer
MIB through IPX/SPX or TCP/IP. HP.
HTTP
Sets several types of parameters using a Web browser.
If you are using IP network management protocols on your local network,
you can configure the printer to resolve the configuration of your local
network. This printer does not support RMON, WINS, Telnet or RARP
protocols.
DHCP
Sets the IP address from a DHCP server.
BOOTP
Sets the IP address from a BOOTP server.
ICMP
Set the IP address by using ARP and PING commands.
You can use this printer under NetWare, Microsoft Windows, Apple
Macintosh, or UNIX/Linux.
If you are using NetWare on your local network, you should use the IPX/
SPX NetWare protocol.
