Managing AppleTalk Settings

Configuring the Printer for AppleTalk Printing

By default, the printer is ready to print using AppleTalk. If you require
the default settings changed, use the AppleTalk menu from your Web
browser.
Parameter Description
AppleTalk
Enables or disables AppleTalk. The default is
Enabled.
Printer Name
Changes the AppleTalk printer name.
The default sets the six low order digits in the MAC
address.
Zone Name
Sets a zone name. The default is an asterisk. You can
set this parameter automatically from the connected
network, but you can also set it manually.
Network Range
Do not change this parameter.
Node ID
Do not change this parameter.
PAP Timeout
Do not change this parameter.
AppleTalk Type
Do not change this parameter.
