Tray Switch

The Printing Menu allows you to set paper sizes, paper tray and duplex
features, binding length, and printing speed.
The Paper Size menu allows you to specify the paper size for print jobs.
However, printer driver and application software settings may override the
control panel function settings. The Paper Size options include A4
(default), B4, B5JIS, B5ISO, EXEC, LETTER, LEDGER, LEGAL,
COM10, DL, A3, and A3W.
The Tray Switch submenu enables the printer to automatically select an
appropriate paper tray according to the size of the print job. The setting
takes effect only when a print job does not specify a paper size or tray.
The printer driver may override this setting.
Option Description
ON (default) Enables automatic selection of the paper tray for
printing. The paper tray loaded with the media in the
applicable size for the print job is selected. When
more than one paper tray is loaded with applicable
media, the selection is performed according to the
setting specified in the print job or by the TRAY key.
OFF Disables automatic selection of the paper tray for
printing. The paper tray is selected according to the
setting specified in the print job or by TRAY key.
