IP Address

The EMULATION submenu allows you to specify the page description
language of print data to be received on the parallel interface. The default
AUTO setting (recommended) and PS setting enable printing in
PostScript® format. PCL disables printing in PostScript® format.
The I/O Timeout function allows you to choose how long the printer will
wait after a break in data reception before it moves on to the next print
job. You can set the wait time from 5 to 300 seconds. Timeout options
include 15 SEC (default), 20 SEC, 30 SEC, 60 SEC, 120 SEC, 180 SEC,
240 SEC, 300 SEC, 5 SEC, and 10 SEC.
The Network Menu allows you to configure network settings for the
printer.
The settings you enter from the Network Menu are saved to memory
when the control panel display returns to ONLINE, and after the printer
has been turned off and then turned on again.
The IP Address submenu allows you to set the printer IP address from
the printer control panel. The following example shows how to set the
printer IP address to 192.168.31.27.
