Installing Macintosh Printer Drivers

For optimum printer performance, the AdobePS 8.7 printer driver for the
Apple Macintosh requires the following:
Mac OS 8.1 or later
Apple ColorSync 2.0.1 (if using AdobePS ColorSync features—
AdobePS does not support ColorSync 1.x.)
Space necessary to accommodate PostScript Printer Description
(PPD) files
Note:
AdobePS is not compatible with Apple QuickDraw GX.
The AdobePS 8.7 printer driver does not run on the Macintosh 68K
computers. The Macintosh computer must meet the following minimum
hardware requirements.
Apple Power Macintosh.
At least 4 MB of available memory.
At least 2.1 MB of available disk space.
1. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Double-click the Tally T8106/T8406 CD-ROM.
3. Double-click the folder of the language you want to use.
4. Double-click the folder for your printer model.
5. Copy the PPD to your system/extensions/printer description
folder.
6. Double-click the Adobe PS 8.7 installer and follow the prompts to
install the driver.
Note:
It is recommended you use the Adobe PS 8.7 printer driver.
7. From the Chooser, select the Adobe PS 8.7 print driver. Choose
your printer from the list of available PostScript printers.
8. Choose the printer PPD from the list of available PPDs.
