• For Windows XP Professional Edition:

Create a folder in the desired directory on your computer (Example of folder name, MyShare)
and double-click the folder.

Select Folder Options from Tools.

Click View tab, and then deselect the Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box.

Click OK, and then close the window.

Right-click the folder, and then select Properties.

Select the Sharing tab, and then select Share this folder.
7
Enter a shared name in the Share name box.
NOTE:
• Write down this shared name because you will use this name in the next setting procedure.
