CentreWare Internet Services

CentreWare Internet Services (CentreWare IS) provides a simple interface that enables you to manage
and monitor your printer from your computer using the printer's embedded Web server. It provides you
with access to printer status, printing and scanning functions. Using CentreWare IS, you can access
your printer over a TCP/IP network using a Web browser.
CentreWare IS enables you to:
Check printer paper supply status from your computer.
Check status of toner and other consumables.
Submit print jobs.
Access and manage scan files stored in printer folders.
Note:
CentreWare IS requires a Web browser and a TCP/IP connection between the printer and the
network (in Windows, Macintosh, or UNIX environments). Your system administrator must enable
TCP/IP and HTTP in the printer, and a browser that supports JavaScript is required. If JavaScript is
disabled, a warning message appears and CentreWare IS may not function properly.
To use CentreWare IS, you will need your printer's IP address.
Viewing the Printer IP Address:
1. On the printer control panel, press the Machine Status button.
2. The IP Address is displayed on the left of the printer touch screen.

Accessing CentreWare IS

1. At your computer, launch your Web browser.
2. Type the printer's IP address into the Web browser's address bar, then press Enter.
The CentreWare IS status page displays on your computer's screen.
Note:
Bookmarking the printer's IP address in your Web browser will make it easier to
communicate with the printer later.
